I am SO Thankful

Our Thanksgiving break was packed with lots of fun and cousins. I took the littles to The Leonardo downtown. Watson had a great time exploring each area but his very favorite was the art room. One very nice lady there gave him "real" clay and talked with him about everything in life as he created his own masterpiece. She really was exceptionally kind and genuine. Watson loved that part of the day. Daisy had fun standing on tables and any other uneven surface she could find. She also loved this little crazy stair exhibit, climbing up and down repeatedly. Right now she is getting six or eight or ten teeth, so she has her Binky nonstop. I will do whatever she needs to help her be comfortable.

There was a cool light box/stage area. Watson had to bust a move and it was pretty awesome.

This was a tree of wishes. It was sweet to read what so many others long for. I should have added my own to put good thoughts into the universe. To be honest, I was just trying to keep up with Daisy. Man, that girl is busy!

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving family time together thoroughly at Grandma Nettie's house. The weather was pleasant enough for a little family pic. Too bad my eyes were closed. But, I needed to document how happy I really was to have my whole little family together for a few days. Sometimes it's hard to get our busy teen home and rested. We sure love having Chandler around as much as possible.

Of course the food was delicious! My mom always makes the best turkey dinner. There was one little glitch, though, with the turkey roaster... Now it's just a joke but I think my mom may be getting some new turkey cooking tools for her birthday.
I made the cake and Challey made two of the pies, Channa's sister in law Kellie made three more pies. If you left hungry it was totally your own fault.
One more little glitch to our Thanksgiving tradition was the missing Bingo game. We bring little wrapped prizes for the winners and the kids love to trade things around. Who knew the biggest hit would be cement surprise forms. The three oldest boys did everything they could to win those prizes. It was pretty funny to watch them uncover their "treasures."
My heart is so completely full for all that I've been given. My God is so generous and loving, nothing I have has been earned but comes completely from His grace. I really am SO thankful to Him.

Baby and Biking

Daisy is definitely becoming more fun as she gets older. She loves to snuggle and wrestle and roll around on the floor while Watson is being crazy. She loves being with her family and I think she is amazing. She is finally getting more teeth...four or eight, maybe? This is making her a bit more clingy but it won't last so I need to cherish it. Right? She is really moving into toddlerhood quickly.
Watson continues to amaze me as he explores new interests and develops his talents. He loves, loves, loves riding his bike, especially with his dad. Scott and Watson had some fun at the bike park in Park City. These two have also picked BMX racing back up for the winter. The track has moved to the equestrian center close by. They are loving all of it.
