I can't believe she is 5 months! Already? She is so much fun right now. Watson is the best at getting her to smile. She will giggle and screech when you do anything silly. She loves to be held and always, always wants to see what's going on. We love her dimples, her sweet smile and her beautiful spirit.

Christmas, Hooray!!
Merry Christmas from the Carrs!!
Chandler has encouraged us to get new family pictures, our last was done almost three years ago. We decided to make it an event to honor Daisy joining our family. So, here we are with more pink. We had so much fun goofing around and being together. My kids are the cutest!
We put up the tree and reminisced as we added the ornaments. Dad said this is the last year for a fresh tree, but I love having one each year. I have to close my eyes when the almost youngest puts the star on top...
This was one of Chandler's favorite gifts, he was surprised. |
Nana Wood and Santa gave Watson just what he wanted, more video games! |
Grandma Nettie gave Watson some fun things to use in his new clubhouse. |
Daisy was more than content with her little elephant. |
The kids are getting so big!! |
Daisy loved her present from Santa. We managed to fit in a little nap together after all the Christmas morning excitement.
This Christmas was so fun. It was fantastic to have Chandler home for so long. Watson was always excited about our activities and plans. Daisy was sweet and willing to just enjoy the ride. I feel so thankful for these times to make new memories together.

The Fantastic Grandma Nettie
Grandma Nettie is THE BEST grandma on the planet. She loves her kids and grandkids more than anything else. She is the most selfless with her time and talents and willingly gives what ever she can. We celebrated this magnificent woman on December 23rd. She kind of gets the short end of the stick having a birthday so close to Christmas. But, she doesn't mind. She likes that she shares the day with Joseph Smith. We love her so!

It's a Tradition!
I love Christmastime and the fun traditions we have as a family. This year was a little more low key, having a new little babe around the house. But, we managed to do most everything. And it was fun, fun, fun! Of course Mr. Jim arrived on December 1st with new PJ's for Watson and Daisy. He tries to help Watson remember what Christmas is all about. Watson loves to find him each morning and can't wait to tell us about the newest hiding place.
Watts and I have a tradition of making sugar cookies to deliver to a retirement home. He made sure there were plenty of sprinkles... Since we haven't been in Bluffdale long I wasn't sure where we should visit. We found a cute little place close by in Lehi. We talked with the residents, Watson handed out cookies, and they fawned over his and Daisy's cuteness. It was time well spent. I think I'd like to do that more often. We need to find a little retirement home in our community to adopt.
Of course Watson wrote his annual letter to Santa. He asked for a new Xbox and Lego Disney Infinity game. He mailed it at Thanksgiving Point's special Santa mailbox. I love this magical part of Christmas.
We fit in a quick jaunt around Temple Square one night. It was plenty cold but the snow and lights were beautiful. I love doing this every year.
We were also able to visit The Grand America. The gingerbread cabin this year was fantastic! The windows are always decorated so fun and it's nice to get a little treat after we finish questionnaire.
Daisy likes to watch things move. I like to watch Dad love on Daisy.
Chandler is almost always a good sport about our family activities. We love having him home.
Of course we needed to make at least one gingerbread house of our own. We collaborated to make this lovely creation. Watson's favorite part was eating the candy as we worked. Chandler made sure practically every area was covered.
I love our family Christmas traditions. Sometimes it feels like some work to pull it all together, but I never regret the time I put into it. I'm grateful we can spend so much time together. My family is my greatest blessing.

Cousin's Nativity
One of our very favorite Christmas traditions is the cousins acting out The Nativity. We were so happy to have everyone home and available this year. I loved watching the older cousins helping the younger cousins. Even Daisy participated and was a pretty calm "baby Jesus." Every year we use Garth and Vickie Anderson's costumes and this year I really felt grateful for sweet Vickie. I felt her with us and the kids read their lines and reverently acted out each part. I'm so grateful for this part of our remembering the Savior.
